Our next temporary exhibit will explore the history of the local reformatory school and its impact on the boys who attended it. Established in 1902, the Illinois State Home for Delinquent Boys exists today as the Illinois Youth Center.

Adopt an Artifact! is a unique program offered by the St. Charles History Museum that allows people to “adopt” various artifacts from the Museum’s Collection. Artifacts may be adopted for up to a year and can be renewed.
