Museum to Offer Small Business Saturday Specials

Newly-Stocked Items Available, Reflections Author to Hold Signing

In recognition of small business Saturday, the St. Charles History Museum will be offering new products in its Gift Shop and discounts for all shoppers.

On Saturday, November 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., all shoppers in the Museum’s Curious Fox Gift Shop can receive 10% off, while Museum members can receive up to 15% off their total purchase. Museum staff has restocked the gift shop with new items including facemasks, a limited edition 2020 ornament, new t-shirts, home goods and décor, artwork, and books.

In addition, Steve Gibson, author and editor of the new edition of the St. Charles history book Reflections of St. Charles will be holding a book signing and meet-and-greet during store hours. Copies of the book will also be available for purchase in the Gift Shop.

 “During this holiday season amid a pandemic, it is more important than ever to support local small businesses,” said Museum Executive Director Lindsay Judd. “Museum gift shop patrons can take extra pride in the fact that proceeds from all purchases here go right back to our mission of collecting and preserving St. Charles history for the future.”
