We had an incredibly successful fundraiser at Rockin’ on the Rooftop on Saturday, June 22nd! We had approximately 200 supporters in attendance and altogether, you helped raise over $20,000 to support the Museum. We are incredibly grateful to the entire St. Charles community for their support in putting on our premier fundraising event of the year.

Rosie and the Rivets provided some classic hits that had the crowd dancing all night long.

“We would like to thank all of our community partners and friends of the Museum for their help in making the event a huge success,” said Executive Director Alison Costanzo. “Every ticket purchased for the event and for the raffles helped play a part in our mission to tell the stories and preserve the history of our amazing community.”

Rosie and the Rivets provided some rockin’ entertainment into the night while we enjoyed food courtesy of Ron Onesti and Club Arcada, drinks from Vintage 53 and Riverlands Brewing, and desserts courtesy of Colonial Cafe , Harner's, El Puente, and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

At the event, we drew the winner of our 50/50 community raffle. Ted Hensel was drawn as the winner, taking home a total pot of $4,015, while Steve Krammerer and Lorri Metych were drawn as the winner of a beautiful diamond necklace valued at over $2,000 and generously donated by State Street Jewelers in Geneva.

Attendees enjoyed a wide range of auction prizes, courtesy of our sponsors.

Our live auction served as the perfect finale for the evening. Some of
the highlights were trips to Nashville, Tennessee and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, food and event packages, beautiful arts and crafts, and more. The event raised roughly 20% of our operating budget for the year, and we appreciate all of the great support in our mission of collecting and preserving the wonderful history of the city of St. Charles.
