The St. Charles History Museum is proud to announce a new logo, website, and branding strategy. Under the guidance of Director Alison Costanzo, the Museum is taking steps to modernize and better communicate with the public. The new logo and website will play an integral role in community engagement going forward.
In partnership with Ellingsen Design, the St. Charles History Museum strove to develop an updated, clean logo that highlights the Museum's connection with community history. Inspiration for the new logo was taken directly from the exterior design of the McCornack Oil building, which has housed the Museum since 2001. Maintaining a relationship with the Museum's unique location was a priority in all branding decisions.
The newly redesigned and expanded Museum website www.stcmuseum.org will allow patrons to engage with the Museum and Museum collections in more ways than ever before. Website visitors can now read and comment on Museum news and events, as well as posts on the St. Charles History Blog. Visitors can subscribe to the email newsletters for updates, easily access visitor information, information about our exhibits and collections, schedule research appointments with staff, donate to the Museum, purchase memberships, and access an exclusive Museum Members section. The new site also makes it easier than ever to locate the St. Charles History Museum across social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
Please join us online and at the Museum to celebrate this exciting new chapter in our organization's history.
