NEW for 2025 — 8 new historic sites!

Take a stroll through history with a guided walking tour of St. Charles. See more than TWO DOZEN historic sites and learn about the people, the businesses, and the creation of St. Charles. Remember last summer when you said, “It’d be great to take a tour of downtown St. Charles someday”?

We’ve added new historic locations, including our turn of the century City Hall, the Webster/Wing House, and a pre-Civil War home built from bricks fired right here in St.Charles! And we’ll even find time to visit a candy shop with vintage candies and a huge of cold sodas to slake your thirst!

Put on your comfy shoes for this special edition of our monthly walking tours. Your guide this time will be none other than St. Charles History Museum Historian and Podcast Host Steve Gibson! Steve brings a wealth of in-depth knowledge to the tour.

Note that this is a WALKING TOUR and you should consider wearing comfy shoes and plenty of sunblock. We’ll take an easy pace, and plan on being back in about an hour and 15 minutes.

The tour starts and ends at the Museum at 215 E Main St. Arrive 15 minutes before your tour starts so you can get signed in.

Spaces are limited, so don’t delay.

All proceeds benefit the St. Charles History Museum.

Tickets are $25 for NON-MEMBERS. Members SAVE $5 - $20 for MEMBER tickets. You can join right at the museum!
